a week and a day

it's been a while, and i've sorely missed my lil freeky bloggy, but my absence was somewhat necessary since i had SHITLOADS of work in the past week.

on a good note... i turned 22! yay! i had loads of fun, although it was a busier than normal day for me, and spent a really nice evening treating my parents and prudy to a dinner. then prudy brought home the most delish cake ever, and well... let's just say i had a good time with that hot chocolate sexy thing.

erm... the cake... not prudy... well mebbe if i said white chocolate... MOVING ON!

also on my birthday i (alongwith other bloggers) gave a very very well-recieved presentation on sacrifice... and then the next morning i wrote a research paper on witchcraft in european societies. no... i'm not going wacko... am just taking a course on ritual & belief with ali khan who's one of the most fun and chillest teachers i've had at lums.

over the weekend i was working nite and day on the senior project... X-Stream TV!
big big biggity news!!! IT'S DONE!!! woohoo!!! you have no idea how happy i am... it's working, it's beautiful, and most importantly... it's done. the last piece of code i'll ever write in lums has been written and submitted to group 0513's advisors, and by gawd... it's the prettiest, snazziest, smoothest program i've ever contributed to. i feel so proud... almost like a father... NEVER MIND!

anyway... so that's all done... and i have a much-needed respite. this is of course color week where the graduating batch (my very own BSc 2005) competes amongst itself to engage in utterly foolish and silly behavior in the interests of looting the juniors and having a bit of fun. it'll all end with our farewell this friday nite, and i guess that's when you'll get your next update from me.
